Today I waited in a ridiculously long line at the Verizon store. I found a bluetooth for 49.99 that I fell in like with and  asked the salesman some questions: Is this a pretty good one? response: It'll get the job done... hmmm, I thought. what color should I get? response: black, it will go with all your outfits. ok, I thought. Radiation. what about Radiation? response: none of our phones have been tested for radiation. so your pretty much on your own.  ok, so if I die?.. response: Its not my fault. ok ... response: so do you want to get it? yeah.

turns out the bluetooth was only 39.99. ten dollars off was such a blessing. It was all in all an exciting day!

a second trip through joshua

As I grow in my relationship with the Lord, I become increasingly irritated with myself and the state I am in. Just when I'm selfishly broken to the point of tears God shows me how little faith I have in Him. 

I am a big believer in the idea that we need to be reminded more often than taught. Everything God does is to bring glory to Himself. In this chapter, God commands Joshua to have the 12 men representing the 12 tribes of Israel pick up a stone as they are crossing the Jordan, and place it on the other side as a memorial for the children of Israel forever.

God knew. Just as quickly as the Israelites were astonished at the parting of the Jordan, they would forget. They would forget their God. The One who created their very being, the One who gives them the very breath they breathe... Their Provider, their Sustainer, the Lover of their soul.

                             PLEASE..

Don't forget your Creator. Don't forget where your identity lies in the business of life. Don't forget the Lover of your soul... Don't be distracted from your purpose. 

People always want to know where their purpose lies. Only to find simplicity of concept yet extremely hard to focus on whole heartedly. JESUS: TO KNOW HIM AND MAKE HIM KNOWN.

In Jeremiah 3 Jesus says, that He put her (Israel) away and gave her a certificate of divorce because she had been playing the harlot. it has been so easy for me to forget that Christ is my husband. And sadly enough, I have not been treating him like the Lover of my soul. vs.14 says, Return, O backsliding children. For I am married to you. Coby, pay attention to this next part...He goes on to say that He will take you, one from a city and give you a shepherds according to His heart,( I Love that) who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

REVOLUTION?

Today was rad. A couple of friends and I went down to a park in Irvine near Northwood High School to do some graffiti outreach. We had the chance to talk to some  high schoolers about the Lord and the testimony of His faithfulness. Praise the Lord!
