Deleted Forever

i dont know how many of you have a gmail acount but there is this tricky little button at the bottom that says DELETE FOREVER. i checked my new messages in my inbox and clicked on one that i wanted to delete, and up popped Delete forever- maybe i have always had different options of deleting, but those are some powerful words. once you click on Delete forever it says, "... your conversation has been deleted." i was really sad when i logged  off today. does this mean i can no longer ever receive mail from this person? it doesnt really matter at all because i deleted something i didnt care about but the words still ring in my head.
