Is there anywhere i can get a big ole mission accomplished banner?!!!

So at work I am only allowed to wear black, white, or grey. It's been somewhat of a challenge coming up with an outfit with these three colors and i definitely need to add more to my wardrobe. Since my first paycheck is pretty much all going towards paying my ticket, I have had to try and be more creative with my wardrobe, as i must hold off for a little longer on buying new items. Another problem i am facing is adding color in little amounts as to get away with it at work. Yesterday i resorted to a green and blue feather headband and red lipstick. I have been trying to blend in somewhat so as to not overly draw attention to myself- they're not ready for my mohawk yet. Stepping into work with red lipstick was a big step. I'm starting to get more comfortable there and more familiar with everything and everyone. The day was a success!

My mom is sooo cute. For some reason the WORD document on our computer has vanished. I have no way of typing up anything even if I wanted to-which isn't too often, but today I need it. I have to type out lyrics for the CD release tonight just in case I forget the words. don't want to forget- that would be baaaaaddddd!!!!! Anyway, I woke up to find an EXCEL work sheet ( I hate excel!- the lines are irritating )opened on my computer with this little note written on it. so cute.

first day on the Job

Yesterday I started a new job at a salon here in Tustin. Praise God for being our provider! Before I went off to work I read psalm 16 which if I do say so myself, is AWESOME!!!!! God is soooo good, and He reminded me of that fact yesterday. - My goodness is nothing apart from Him... It's in His presence that I find fullness of Joy and pleasures forevermore- not in a job, not in man, but at His feet. Hope this Psalm blesses you as much as it does me!

Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.

O my soul, you have said to the Lord,

"You are my Lord, my goodness is nothing apart from You."

As for the saints who are on the earth,

" They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight."

Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god;

their drink offerings of blood i will not offer, nor take up their names on my lips.

O Lord, You are my portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot.

The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes I have a good inheritance.

I've been spending a lot of time at the Lord's feet- A good place to be. God has been teaching me things, hard things. One of the things He has been putting on my heart and has spoken to me about several times is that I am to step back from leading worship for a time. This may come as a shock to some, probably most, but at the end of the day obedience is all that matters.

I have had to say good bye to a lot but I know that the Lord is good, and that He has good things for me. So to Scott, Jake, Chris, Chance, Kevin, and John, I have loved ministering along side of you- playing music, talking about the Lord and our second service starbucks runs. I love you all.

A day with I AM SAILBOAT

The guys waiting around for me to get all my gear together.

On Saturday I met up with the band, I AM SAILBOAT to take some band photos for them. Everything went really well and the images couldn't have come out more amazing. God is so good and His glory totally was shown in these images. I can't wait till I can finally hand them over to these guys, as well as share them with all of you!

At the end of the night we went and shot in the Old Tustin area. After dinner we saw this diner kind of place and decided to go in and check it out. One of the Ladies ended up making us all these awesome concoctions out of ice cream and some of their over 1,600 different kinds of sodas they offer there. And for those that love rootbeer, they have 16 different kinds. Did I mention she did this for us for FREE?!!!!

So to Max, Brandon, Josh and Cory, It was fun getting to know you guys and hang'n wit cha. Stay crazy.
