shiver me timbahs!

what do you do with a  scurvy pirate? what do you do with a scurvy pirate? what do you do with a scurvy pirate? MAKE HIM WALK THE PLANK!  Rachel just came over and Elliott is thrilled to not be asleep. Since her arrival, they have not ceased to tap into their imagination - pirates seeking treasure.

I can't believe it is already the 18th of September. And to tell the truth, I honestly didn't think i could make it this far. Praise the Lord for His grace. Each new day, i am amazed once more of the ability God has. that though i come short, though i am weak, though i have nothing to offer, He realizes that i am only dust. And like the woman who came to Jesus asking for a resurrection for her son, He looks at her with Compassion, and says in His own way, " I Am Willing!" Thank you Lord for Your willingness to put up with rubbish.

with lots of treats...

recently i have been finding new blogs that i am really enjoying. each of these blogs seem to come one thing in common- a love for cooking and portraying it in such a beautiful way. seeing this, almost to the point of envy, i thought to myself, " i could totally do that". i enjoy cooking very much however there is not always time or ingredients or money to get those ingredients. But when i can i have so much fun. another thing that comes with me baking is that i get the sudden urge to throw a party. so some one is either gonna have to get engaged or married or have a baby... i need to throw a party.

sadly enough i did not bake these. for now they are purely inspiration. - more to come! be excited!

just for Nina

just for nina i have decided to change my header once  every day in hopes to find an amazing picture everyone will be fond of or at the very least grow fond of. apparently the jelly fish from england is not up to par. for my first attempt... something i believe in.

an open door

God has been opening and closing doors like crazy as of late; demanding my trust. The newest venture of faith for me currently is in stepping into a new role as the worship leader for Calvary Chapel San Juan Capistrano. I am so excited to be doing such and leaning on the Lord for His strength as my weakness will undoubtedly show. though, I am reminded often (through the scriptures) that I come short in no gift. So if you're ever in San Juan Capistrano on a Sunday morning, stop by and say hello. I would love to see you. And even if your not in the area... stop by anyway. It's always encouraging to see familiar faces. Service starts at 10:00 am!  (5 fwy. south coming from costa mesa- get off on Ortega HWY and turn right.) And to make matters way better, the most amazing starbucks is located right on the corner.  so, stop by. - we'll do lunch!
